CPI Fluid Engineering – CPI-4600-F Series compressor lubricants are formulated using a premium polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid coupled with an unparalleled high performance additive package. These compressor lubricants feature superior thermal and oxidative stability, enabling them to operate over a wide range of temperatures without coking, deposit formation, or corrosion. They also have low volatility and compatibility with mineral oil lubricants.

Applications and Compressor Type

  • Flooded rotary screw compressors
  • Liquid ring vacuum pumps
  • Other applications requiring an oxidative and thermally resistant lubricant

Food Grade Compressor Oil

STELLA Food Grade Compressor Oils are foodsafe, non-toxic and available in mineral and synthetic oil options, and are developed for all types of compressors used in the food, drink and pharmaceutical processing and packaging industries.

STELLA Food Grade Compressor oils are characterised by

  • Low coefficient of friction provides excellent lubrication and reduces wear
  • Good protection against corrosion of all metal working surfaces.
  • Fully synthetic oil provides extremely wide temperature and oxidation stability and ensuring greatly extended servicing intervals
  • Low foaming reduces residue and scum build-up, which extends maintenance intervals
  • NSF H1 \ Food Grade \ Foodsafe for the use in HACCP Certified Food and Packaging Manufacturing Plants

Best suited applications: compressor systems that require NSF H-1 approved compressor oil and are also suitable for compressor systems where clean, non-staining compressor oil is desired.

STELLA Food Grade Compressor Oil (ISO 46, ISO 68 and ISO 100) are NSF H1 registered for incidental contact with food (the global food grade lubricant standard for food processing and packing equipment) and meets AQIS Lubricant Type A requirements.

CPI®-1009-68 is formulated with high quality hydrotreated mineral oil coupled with an excellent performance additive package.

This lubricant features enhanced oxidation stability and pour point depressant, allowing it to operate over a wide range of temperatures. This oil has low volatility, enabling decreased maintenance and significantly reduced lubricant consumption.

CPI®-1009-68 is particularly suited for use in ammonia compressors with evaporator temperatures greater than -43°C.

Applications and Compressor Type

  • Ammonia compressors
  • Process gas rotary screw
  • Process gas reciprocating compressors

CPI®-4614-68-F is formulated with high quality synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) basestock.

This lubricant is H1 registered with NSF and can be used in food processing plants where there is chance of incidental food contact with the oil. It features enhanced oxidation stability and a low pour point, allowing it to operate over a wide range of temperatures. The oil has low volatility, enabling decreased maintenance and signifi cantly reduced lubricant consumption.

CPI®-4614-68-F is particularly suited for use in ammonia compressors with evaporator temps below -39°C or applications where food grade products are necessary.

Applications and Compressor Type

  • Ammonia compressors
  • Process gas rotary screw
  • Process gas reciprocating compressors
